In 2016, I graduated with a Master's of Science degree from Columbia Journalism School, where I wrote about neon sign-makers, underwater rugby players, disgruntled helicopter tour pilots, and pizza.
There I honed my skills as a reporter, building on my experiences writing for the Ellsworth American in Ellsworth, Maine, the Forest Grove News-Times in Forest Grove, Oregon, and the Haverford Clerk, an online student newspaper at Haverford College, where I studied English literature.
I enjoy the creativity and persistence required to find compelling people who pursue unusual passions, and innovative people who are trying to make a difference.
